The Supply Gap India Cannot Ignore

India consumes ~$50B of imported semiconductor devices a year, but it produces almost none. More than 98% of India's semiconductor demand is imported — and unlike the global average, that demand is more skewed to mature nodes. The fastest-growing, most under-served slice sits in the legacy power & analog tier (250nm–500nm), where there is no commercial domestic capacity. That roughly $10B segment — driven by EV powertrains, solar inverters, industrial drives, consumer electronics and railway traction — is exactly where TOPCHIP operates.

India's Chip Mix by Node

The 250nm–500nm power & analog tier — serving IGBTs, power MOSFETs, discretes, PMIC, MCU and analog — represents ~20% of India's chip demand and is the tier TOPCHIP serves. It is the most under-served segment with zero domestic commercial production today.

Platform Capacity at Full Ramp

Aggregate platform capacity of 145,000 wafer starts per month across four co-located lines — the largest mature-node power semiconductor foundry footprint in India.

The 500nm Power-Si line anchors the platform with the highest volume, targeting mass-market discrete power devices. The three 350nm lines serve higher-complexity, higher-value products including traction IGBTs, BCD motor drivers and mixed-signal ICs.
